On behalf of the University of Silesia in Katowice (UŚ), Mineralogical Society of Poland (PTMin) and the Faculty of Earth Sciences (WnOZ) we are pleased to invite you to the 1st SEM Applications Workshop on Faculty of Earth Sciences, Sosnowiec.

The theme of the Workshop, Scanning Electron Microscope: Applications in Earth Sciences, provides a unique opportunity for mineralogists, geochemists, soil scientists, chemists, biologists, climatologists and for many other specialists to exchange and to learn about the impact and trends of the Scanning Electron Microscope in Earth sciences. A number of current-day applications in the Earth Sciences will be presented in more detail through invited speakers.
